• Ensuring that every student has at least one adult in their school that they can trust and depend on
• Expanding student choices for less-traditional learning paths, especially vocational education
• Pushing the District’s equity work forward, including hiring, budgeting, and the Watertown Anti-Bias Coalition
• Uplifting every student to develop their full potential
• Preparing students to succeed in life after high school, no matter which path they take
• Advocating to keep our class sizes low and our offerings broad – including in the arts, world languages, and co-curriculars like athletics
• Providing more real-life, hands-on quality learning and more opportunities to showcase that learning
• Nurturing creativity and curiosity to persist across a student’s lifetime
• Connecting students with the Watertown community to enhance their education and improve Watertown
• Navigating the shifting education landscape, especially funding and policies
• Advancing the dialogue around Middle School improvements
• Continuing the District’s efforts to support, connect to, and advocate for the communities whose voices might not be forefront, heard, or privileged
